Roadmap
The course so far
Covo keeps one promise above the rest: simple enough to use every day, careful enough to never break your Mac. Here's what has shipped and what's next.

- MySQL 8.4, Mailpit, Adminer, Xdebug
- CLI with --json for every command

The app

- Import from Local, Herd, Valet and XAMPP, with database migration
- Snapshots of files and database

Sailing now
Public beta
- Signed and notarized app
- In-app updates
- Homebrew tap
- Source code public on GitHub
On the horizon
After the beta
- Our own reproducible builds of every binary, with an SBOM
- Apache and Nginx, for .htaccess parity
- A modern privileged helper for the signed app

Not on the map
Covo stays a PHP tool. Node, Python and other runtime managers, dozens of optional modules, or anything that needs Docker are out on purpose. Windows and Linux may come after the beta, if ever. Have an idea? Start a discussion.
